Every class 2 manufacturer makes an
integrally suppressed 10-22. For most people it’s their first
suppressor. Our integrally suppressed 10-22’s have some significant
differences from most of the others that are currently on the market.
We start by removing the factory Ruger barrel and discarding it. Next we
bore and thread the receiver rather than using the factory v-block
affair. This allows us to run the suppressor tube all the way back to
the receiver without an unsightly gap. The barrels are machined from
Lilja stainless blanks. Lilja only makes one grade of barrel, MATCH
grade. Lilja barrels hold numerous benchrest records and we feel that
they are the finest available. The chambers are cut with a special
chambering reamer called a “Bentz” chamber. The Bentz chamber is
designed to be tighter than a standard 22 chamber but not as tight as a
true match chamber. This allows the gun to function properly. The
barrels are ported with a scientifically determined number of ports to
allow CCI-mini mags to be just subsonic. The Bentz chamber will NOT
allow the use of CCI Stingers which are too long to chamber.
We currently produce 2 models of integrally suppressed 10-22 rifles.
The standard model has the integral suppressor and Hogue stock with no
other work done to it.
The Ultra model has an entirely new
Volquartsen trigger group installed. The housing is machined from solid
aluminum and all of the internal components are cut from tool steel with
a wire EDM for the ultimate trigger pull. It also has the pull to
release bolt release and extended magazine release.
